Ludo King is a token race in which a die roll creates choices rather than a single automatic move. Rolling a six lets you bring a new token into play, and the aim is to get all four tokens home. Landing on an opponent’s token can send it back, making relative positions important even when the final destination is the same. Playtua’s 3D board keeps the race familiar while giving the pieces a more tactile presence.

Before choosing a token, look at what the move changes for the next turn. Advancing the leading piece, bringing another token out and moving a vulnerable token can all have different advantages. A capture can be useful, but leaving a good position behind may have a cost later. Try not to focus on just one token for the whole game. Keeping more than one option available makes a wider range of rolls useful as the race develops.
